html - <div> element instead of <table>? -
There has been a lot of discussion lately, rather than using div rather than table tags, to make your pages more actively as a browser. Why is div better?
Some reason:
1) Div is more meaningful in most cases meaningfully Correct the people who coded your site in the table structure, the table data that are not used for the table being used for the table divs a "partition" or a part of the page, so divs into It is more accurate to insert items.
2) Divs are more flexible and easy for style and to keep you every time you want to say something, you can get the & lt; Table & gt; & Lt; Tr & gt; & Lt; Td> Text here & lt; / Td> & Lt; / Tr & gt; & Lt; / Table & gt; You do not have to type instead you just and lt; Div & gt; Text here & lt; / Div & gt; You can add CSS hooks (ie class or element) in both tables and divs, but with divs it is infinitely more flexible.
3) Table structured sites are just plain ugly :)
