Is it possible to write a commercial XBOX game using Visual Studio and MS XNA Game Studio SDK? -

I know that more commercial games are developed in Assembly or C / C ++, but any person V.S. What is the real time intensive application that will be fit for release in high street, what are the limits to opposing just Xbox LIVE that you are facing and what type of frame rate were you getting, and in what resolution?

Obviously you can use it to write something like championship manager / rock band but you can use it to develop it like Pro Ivo?

I doubt that I already know the answer but I would love to hear from other people's experiences with XNA and Visual Studio 2008.

XNA is definitely capable of delivering demonstration applications as a technology. In some situations, like full bleeding edge sports, I think it is fair to say that XNA has not been tested.

The big issue is one of the licenses Microsoft is currently not presenting XAN as a framework for the development of professional Xbox applications and it has been targeted more for community development. There is currently no "professional" targeted XNA platform, and I do not have retail SKUs using XNA for my knowledge.
