Does Firefox 3.5 not allow java objects to be tagged with javascript (document.write)?

This technique works well with other browsers and older Firefox.

Is this a new security limitation?

I tested the creation of both the Javascript object tags and tested only the plain object tag for Java . It seems that there is a bug in 3.5 beta 4, which does not show the plugin information message for the object tags.
