how do i add a view to schema.xml in sharepoint -
I am trying to add a view to a custom list. The goal is MOSS 2007, I am using VS2008 w / VSeWSS 1.3. This feature already has a custom list definition, which includes a custom view called "calendar" To get started I thought I would create another view called New Calendars, which is a duplicate of the current custom view calendar.
So, I New Zealand. Calendar on ASPX. Copyed the Appx, pasted the node and a new node for the current "view" current calendar, then changed the following features of the new node: DisplayName, Url, and DefaultView.
When I refresh the WSP View NewCalendar.aspx appears. When I Deploy and New Calendars If I go to Espacks, I get 404. By using SharePoint Manager I confirm that the page does not exist.
How do I add a custom view through a feature so that it looks "drop-down?"
Update: This works if I create a new instance of my custom list How do I get a custom view to show current lists?
Unfortunately, You are not retroactive, you can not update a feature and all those existing items are apache Which may have been updated with that feature. I think that is by design if this could be possible, then this could potentially result in (unpredictable) reaching far away.
An old script in these scripts in San Francisco, in which the new feature is published.
