Programatically get pages count in Microsoft Word documents on linux -

I need to count with five word documents I have used several libraries and scripts (Apache Poi, Perl scripts, Linux and some others For some applications) and the only working solution was to set up Microsoft Office with WIOL and access OL with Pearl. I have been able to do this, but it seems that I can not use it on the server due to licensing problems ...

The incompleteness of the problem of other solutions providing information about Apachepoi and other documents Some documents are documented in some document pagecard summary, sometimes missing (this often happens with ODT documents, which are saved as a doctor and old docs Is).

Does the Microsoft Office really count to page (not only information from the summary) on the server?

I was about to say, but I think it uses metadata that you are referring to Are there. I'm not sure there is no way to count the page without actually putting the document in place, so you may have to use the API to run an actual Office-compatible application such as OpenOffice or AbiWord.
