Should I create a blog in rails or use something that already exists? -
In my next rail project I will need blogging functionality. I am wondering if anyone has any good suggestions, or should I do my own role? (Probably not in 15 minutes)
I think the most important feature will be to display the code sample beautifully.
This is a classic build-vs-buy (or, in this case, free download) decision What is it?
- Looking for
- To see out the offerings that you have so close.
- For the one or two products that are the closest fit, evaluate whether it will happen or not, try less to write your own solution or customize the offerings to meet your needs.
- If you need a blog site, then use WordPress and this is not a no-binder.
- If there are other features for this app and blogging is just one of them, then consider writing an app around WordPress.
- If there are facilities in WordPress that you do not want, then you probably need to roll your role.
- If the most important feature for this site is to write it in ROR, then roll yourself or find the ROR based blogging app because WordPress ROR is not written in. I actually do not have homework But I think that meeting PPAR and ROR takes a while to share CSAR session.
