What is lisp used for today and where do you think it's going? -

A lisp user has never been, so do not ditch me too while reading it .

I know that there are many forms of language in existence, at least one who will keep it alive for a while, but for a while (very helpful support from Autolis, Visual Lisp - Autodasc) ... but I'm not using it everyday. So if you put some light on this matter:

  • Nowadays its primary goal is the market?

And what do you think its future will be? Will it become just another support language in some app, or is it going somewhere?

In addition,

  • Is other apps keeping it as a support language?
  • Lisp bid collapses in popularity - you can get one of the forums Ask what the people of the real world are building with it. / P>
