hardware - Will more CPU cache help compliation/development in Visual Studio 2008? -

I'm thinking of a new laptop to replace my current machine. I think P8xx and T9xxx Intel Core 2 Duo are the premium of T9xxx in many machines but I think I believe in 6MHz cash in P8xx compared to 3 MHz. Will it help me for compilation time or any other state? Should I invest premiums in more RAM compared to cash?

I work in many Web Work Studio 2008, some C ++ / MFCs, I just want to balance my budget without needing for my overkill.

I do not know whether more cash will help me hurt I can not imagine some such Things that help showcase my visual studio

  1. Keep RAM as cheap as possible in your system, you should maximize your machine.

  2. Go to your power options, and make sure that you are running the CPU at full speed, for example, with Vista on my machine, from "Balanced" to "High Performance" "Switching power options almost doubles the speed for compile.
