Is there a non-relational equivalent of DBI in Perl? -


The Perl module allows me to connect with many different types of SQL databases transparently. Is there a similar Pearl module for non-relational key-value pairing databases? For example, an interface that might start developing with Berkeleybee (or even just a Pearl hash?), But like some offered by Mamkachab or CHDB or a cloud database such as Emmasman Simplified Do or Google AppEngine Datastore

(What is this tie: hash? In what situation, where can I find a summary of the implementation?)
