c++ - 'mpirun' is not recognized as an internal ort external commands, -

I need to create a small OpenMP project. I took examples from www.openmp.org I got it VC ++ 2005 I can compile with / OpenMp compilation within But, when I try to run the program, I have to face "Mupin" is not recognized as internal internal external commands, operative program or batch file "error. When I search the net I have not found this in the milliput and MPFIX XP desktop. They are only in server distribution How can Windows XP programs run on OpenMP?

Or should I go to Linux?

You are mentioning that you are using OpenMP - to actually use MPROX or MPIXAC Is not required, as you would with or with the programs. OpenMP works quite differently than messaging passes libraries: OpenMP uses multiple threads in the same process, but MPIC and OpenMPi use many processes.

So if I understand your question correctly, then you just run your executable without the use of MIPIN or MPIX.

If, on the other hand, you are using MPE, then the mpiexec program resides in the {ProgramFiles} \ MPICH2 \ bin .

Good luck!
