c# - How to get started with Mono in Linux for a beginner? -

How do I start using mono in Linux as a start when I want to switch from Visual Studio?

Is this some easy way to set up and start like a visual studio? So far, what I have seen looks too complicated to start.

Is there a great way to install and configure Mono in Linux?

Or is there a disto that I can install and start directly with applications in Linux?

I recently started teasing myself in mono and so far it has been realized that the mono project Has made great progress in this field. It is a good price to check.

With it, the easiest way to setup with Linux Distro is to mono-friendly like sausage or Ubuntu personally, I tried to use it Ubuntu 8.10

Once you've got your Linux Distro setup, download and install the Mono developer. It is open source IDE which is tightly integrated to work with mono platform. MonoDevelop was taken as a branch of SharpDevelop and was designed to work on the ground with the mono compiler.

This is the easiest and fastest way to setup with Mono Monodaywell IDE view is similar to C # Express. This project / solution management comes complete with the expectation of code-completion, line number, code-fold etc., using a GTI # framework, a host of GII development and other features, using an integrated debugger.

People of MonoProject are doing something with this suite of tools.

Hope this will help you get started.
