.NET code access security - why is it hardly ever used? -
. NET has long been, yet it seems that rarely can be used in the real world.
In my way of thinking, it seems like an excellent concept, and who I NET had not seen before. (Is it present in other languages?)
I would like to know if someone is actively using it in their projects and why?
Due to not using it for those people, there are valid reasons beyond "we do not have a budget for security" or "I do not have time to learn security"?
How effective is it finally to achieve its goal?
The real reason is that Microsoft has provided guidance and best practices about how to use code access protection Did not practice. So never really took it, they never explained why you want to preserve your code is an exception, then what happens, how it is recovered, I think these are the main problems.
Do not confuse it with data access protection which is giving guidance and best practices.
