biztalk - How to make VS 2003 builds on Windows Server 2003 code sourced from TFS 2012 -
I have a BizTalk 2004 solution that currently builds on Windows Server 2003 R2. We have recently moved to a new TFS 2012 server and I can not find any information about how to set up a build agent for this configuration.
Our new build server is available on Windows Server 2008 is R2 - and we can not install BizTalk 2004 on that because BizTalk 2004 requires a database version that can not be installed on 2008R2 so I can not delete it from the previous server 2003 R2 build No .. We are starting a very long process to convert BizTalk 2013 to BizTalk app, but it will not end for months ...
I answered someone a month ago You can use 2010 somewhere to build a service on 2003 R2 and it can be run from TFS 2012 - but there was no other information than this comment.
Can anyone give some information / links / suggestions on this? How to obtain / install the build agent or service on Windows Server 2003 R2 to create VS 2003 BizTalk solution outsourcing files from TS 2012; And it's VS 2012 Builder Can Build Through Script?
Thank you! Todd
If you are ready for any suggestions, then I would say that do not disturb.
Even if the new BizTalk 2013 R2 based app takes "a few months", then it still has a lot more result in BizTalk Server 2004 than in 10+ years.
I think updating the BizTalk Server 2004 build kit costs a lot on upgrading.
