html - Transitions on pseudo-elements not working on firefox browser -
I was expecting it from Internet Explorer, but my beloved Firefox let me down on this.
This will not work on Bella Firefox (at least not for me) and I would like to know why I have seen so many documents and I think this should work.
Here's the answer:
HTML:
& lt; Div id = "new" & gt; & Lt; Ul & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; / Ul & gt; & Lt; / Div & gt; CSS:
#nav {height: 60px; Background color: #FFFFFF; Hidden flurry; } #nav ul {color: # f2f2f2; Margin Top: 20px; List-style-type: none; Text align: center; Swim left; } #nav ul li {display: inline-block; * Display: Inline; Zoom: 1; Margins: 0 10px; } # Nav al li {color: # 8198a; Font style: normal; Font-size: 14px; Font-weight: 500; Alphabets: 0.25px; Text-transform: uppercase; Text-decoration: None; Webkit-Infection: Ease of color 0.5 S; -Mozy-transition: Color 0.5S Ease; -O-Infection: Ease of color 0.5 S; Transition: Color 0.5S Ease; } #nav ul li a: after {margin-top: 16px; material: ""; Display area; Height: 5px; Width: 0; -Widk-Infection: Width 0.5S Ease, Background-Color 0.5S Easy; -MOZ-Infection: Width 0.5S Ease, Background-Color 0.5S Easy; -O-Infection: Ease of 0.5 S, ease the background color 0.5 S; Transition: width 0.5s ease, ease of background color 0.5s; Pointer-events: none; } #nav ul li a: Hover: {width: 100%; Background color: # 8198A0; } #nav ul li a: Hover {cursor: indicator; } Another quick question about "Indicator: No one":
It is working fine on Internet Explorer but not on Chrome (I could not test it because the Firefox problem above).
Thanks in advance!
It appears because #nav ul li a element default Display: Inline .
functional example:
< Pre class = "snippet-code-css lang-css prettyprint-override">
#nav {height: 60px; Background color: #FFFFFF; Hidden flurry; } #nav ul {color: # f2f2f2; Margin Top: 20px; List-style-type: none; Text align: center; Swim left; } #nav ul li {display: inline-block; * Display: Inline; Zoom: 1; Margins: 0 10px; } # Nav al li {color: # 8198a; Font style: normal; Font-size: 14px; Font-weight: 500; Alphabets: 0.25px; Text-transform: uppercase; Text-decoration: None; Display: Inline-block; Webkit-Infection: Ease of color 0.5 S; -Mozy-transition: Color 0.5S Ease; -O-Infection: Ease of color 0.5 S; Transition: Color 0.5S Ease; } #nav ul li a: after {margin-top: 16px; material: ""; Display area; Height: 5px; Width: 0; -Widk-Infection: Width 0.5S Ease, Background-Color 0.5S Easy; -MOZ-Infection: Width 0.5S Ease, Background-Color 0.5S Easy; -O-Infection: Ease of 0.5 S, ease the background color 0.5 S; Transition: width 0.5s ease, ease of background color 0.5s; Pointer-events: none; } #nav ul li a: Hover: {width: 100%; Background color: # 8198A0; } #nav ul li a: Hover {cursor: indicator; } & lt; Div id = "nav" & gt; & Lt; Ul & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; Li & gt; & Lt; A & gt; Admission & lt; / A & gt; & Lt; / Li & gt; & Lt; / Ul & gt; & Lt; / Div & gt; pointer-event for the problem, if it does not solve the problem as good By the way, you should probably ask a question specifically about that.
