"Find and Replace" is slow in Visual Studio 2008 -


I have a solution that has only 1 project, with about 30 class files, if I currently search the document If you use "Find and Replace" for this, it is a fast power, but if I try the whole solution then it takes between 3-4 seconds for each result. Even if I can see matches in front of each other, which I can see, there is a gap of 3-4 seconds. The hard drive is not doing anything, and CPU is useless - why can it cause stalls?

Use "find in files" because it is quite fast.
