Why opensource database like Postgresql and Mysql don't have encrypted stored proc? -
Why is the OpenSource database stored in Postgresql and MySQL proc encrypted?
Their inborn open source philosophy?
What are the compelling factors for encrypting stored procs?
I'm sure the encrypted stored procs of programming at PostgreSQL (MySQL and stored procs a long History is not together) With the custom languages support of PGSQL, I do not see why it would be useful. They have to decrypt them to execute some so that they can be able to handle the database / database server, with sufficient skill, able to get encrypted spam without it. DBA can already see all the figures, all relationships, that makes the SP code blurred.
