Configuring VMWare Server 2.0 with an HTTP proxy -


I have configured VM2.0 server with a guest OS (Ubuntu Linux) and my host OS is Windows XP.

My XP machine connects to the Internet through an HTTP proxy. I wanted to access the guest OS in VMware also from the Internet, the built VM network adapter is set to NAT. I did not really specify any other settings for this VM (after the bus wizard) network.

When I try to open a website in the guest OS, he asks me for HTTP authentication. I do not have to do this while using host OS
