.net - How do you get a custom msbuild task to work properly? -
I have a VS with two projects. The 2008 solution is used by project B (MVC Project) in Project A's assembly. I have created a custom work in Project A, which I call when Project B is being built.
I have come to 2 issues:
- If my assembly file property project is a bin directory, everything works well but when I clean up Project B I always want to make an error that Project A's assembly can not be used because it is used in any other process (after devenv.exe) and fails to be removed.
- If my assembly file points to the binary directory of the property biz, then the build fails to say that it can not load or find the assembly of Project A. I have checked the path, file name, uppercase / lowercase, spell triplet and also checked that the assembly of Project A actually happens when the build fails.
What is wrong in scenario 1 and 2 or where do I point the assembly file? Is there no better way to do this?
If you want to create two projects independently of each other, then you "A "V.S. Output can not be referenced from the directory where it is made ...
How do I handle this situation:
Create
Then, in your construction work for Project A, once you have created the assembly ~ trunk / dependency folder.
The reference to the assembly in the project / ~ dependency folder (so that you can generate a .ref file)
This will allow you to clean the project at the time of desire, and whenever you Would the "A" assembly be brought down.
For CI, we use artifacts for our construction and manufacture, then the construction work must necessarily be those artifacts.
