java me - How to install an application signing certificate on a Motorola Phone? -


There are no Verisign / Thawte root certificates in the Motorola phone to sign code. They only submit Java UTI certificates , For which you have to pay to sign each app on your phone for which you want to sign the app (and every time you want a new version of the app).

I have created a simple web page pointing to the certificate (DER format), to check whether the certificate can be established.

On Nokia phones, it works fine on Motorola, the phone calls "unknown file format".

Is there any way to do this work? The file has the ".cer" extension, is it wrong?
